6 specialisms

What we take on

Each one priced individually or bundled into a single sealant package for the whole project.

01

Internal Sealants

Internal silicone and sealant work through the building: bathrooms, wet rooms, kitchens and the internal junctions that have to stay sealed and still look right. Applied to properly dried and degreased surfaces.

  • Bathrooms, en-suites and wet rooms
  • Shower trays, baths and wall panelling
  • Kitchen worktops and splashbacks
  • Anti-fungal sanitary-grade silicone
  • Internal perimeter and junction sealing
  • Baths loaded before sealing as standard
02

Remedial & Resealing

Old sealant fully removed rather than sealed over, substrates cleaned back and primed where needed, then resealed. The reason the last bead failed gets fixed at the same time.

  • Full removal of failed or mouldy sealant
  • Substrate cleaning, drying and priming
  • Diagnosis of the underlying cause
  • Planned maintenance and reseal programmes
  • Void and end-of-tenancy resealing
03

External Weather Proofing

Facade and envelope sealing designed to move with the building and survive the British weather, across masonry, rainscreen, composite panel and curtain walling systems. Low-modulus systems specified to joint width, with backing rod fitted correctly.

  • Window and door perimeter seals
  • Brickwork, render and stonework joints
  • Rainscreen and composite panel joints
  • Curtain walling weather seals
  • Coping stones, sills and parapet details
  • MEWP and rope access capable
04

Movement & Expansion Joints

Structural movement joints in floors, walls and decks. Joint width, sealant modulus and backing are specified to the expected movement so the bead holds rather than tearing in its first winter.

  • Structural and expansion joints
  • Car park deck and podium joints
  • Industrial floor and screed joints
  • Polyurethane and polysulphide systems
  • Trafficked joints in warehouse slabs
05

Fire Rated & Intumescent Sealing

Fire-rated sealants applied to third-party tested detail, with the right product for the substrate and the gap. Photographed and recorded so the fire strategy can actually be evidenced at handover.

  • Linear gap seals to head of wall and wall-to-wall
  • Service penetrations and cable trays
  • Intumescent acrylic and graphite systems
  • Fire-rated glazing and door perimeters
  • Photographic records for O&M handover
06

Acoustic Sealing

Acoustic sealant to partition perimeters, deflection heads and service penetrations. This is the detail that decides whether a wall achieves its tested dB rating on site or fails a pre-completion test.

  • Partition head and perimeter sealing
  • Deflection head detailing
  • Flanking path and penetration sealing
  • Robust Details compliant installations
  • Pre-completion sound test preparation

Something else?

If it involves a gun, a nozzle and a joint that has to stay sealed, it’s probably us. Describe the job and we’ll tell you straight away whether we can help.

Materials

The right chemistry for the joint

Sealant choice isn't brand loyalty. It's matching movement capability, adhesion and exposure to the detail in front of you. We work with the major manufacturers and follow their specification rather than guessing.

Low-modulus silicone
High movement external joints, glazing perimeters and curtain walling where the bead has to stretch without pulling off the substrate.
Neutral-cure silicone
Non-corrosive to metals, masonry and natural stone, so it suits substrates that an acetoxy silicone would stain or attack.
Polyurethane
Tough, abrasion-resistant joints in floors, car park decks and industrial slabs that take traffic as well as movement.
MS / hybrid polymers
Paint-over-able, low-odour and adheres to damp or awkward substrates, increasingly the sensible default externally.
Sanitary silicone
Fungicide-loaded and formulated for constant wetting in bathrooms, wet rooms, kitchens and pool surrounds.
Intumescent systems
Fire-rated acrylics and graphite sealants applied strictly to the tested detail for the substrate and gap size.

How it works

Five steps, no surprises

The same sequence whether it's one bathroom or four hundred plots.

  1. STEP 01

    Enquiry

Send drawings, a schedule or a few photos. We will tell you straight away whether it is a job for us and what it is likely to involve.

  2. STEP 02

    Survey & quote

Site visit where it is needed, then a written fixed-price quotation broken down by area, with no provisional sums hiding in the total.

  3. STEP 03

    Preparation

Old sealant removed in full, then joints cleaned, dried and primed. Preparation is where a bead's lifespan is decided.

  4. STEP 04

    Application

The specified system applied at the correct depth-to-width ratio and tooled in a single pass, cut in straight against a clean edge.

  5. STEP 05

    Sign-off

Walked with you before we leave. Photographs, product data sheets and certification issued for your O&M file where required.
